introduction
A circle is a two-dimensional shape defined as a collection of the equidistant points on a plane from a certain fixed point. The fixed distance from the center is called the radius of a circle. The diameter of the circle is twice its radius. The circle is the shape that has the largest possible ratio of area to the perimeter. We can measure the perimeter and the area of the circle to calculate the distance.
A circle is a closed figure with a curved boundary and has many parts that represent the properties and characteristics of a circle.
The different parts of a circle are :
- Circumference
- Radius
- Diameter
- Chord
- Tangent
- Secant
- Arc
- Segment
- Sector
